Installing new city states

Hi guys,

Sorry, i am quite new to this so i'm not entirely sure what i am doing but i have installed Zappara's extra city states mod but i'm not sure how it works. How do i make the new city states come up and will this work if i am playing a separate map i have downloaded??

welcome to the forums!

it depends on if the separate map you downloaded has pre set starting locations. They should work just fine on any random map, but be aware that they are only in a pool of possible city states, so they might not show up every game.

ohhh so if there are pre set starting locations only the city states for that map will be shown?

well it is up to the map creators. If they pre-placed all the city states also, then yes. You can actually make maps and pre-set some and not others so it depends.
