If DST has started in the US (I'm so confused :crazyeye: ) then this is 7PM EDT. If DST has not started then it is 6PM. It's definitely 11PM (2300) GMT.

From Chieftess' information, it is at 7PM in the Eastern timezone, which will now be on daylight time.

------- DoI Instructions -------
"Eastern Fanatannia"
If Bentley is to build a barracks, do the following:

Turn 0 - Chop down the forest with 2 workers. Send the other to the cattle.
Turn 1 - Have the worker on the cattle irragate (4 turns).
Turn 2 - Move the other workers that just cleared the forest to the cattle.
Turn 3 - Irragate the cattle. (the 2 workers should finish that turn)
Other turns - Start mining the hills around donsignia (NE and E hills). If they finish, help out Western Fanatannia.

Top priorities after the hills are: (BG = Bonus Grassland)

BG 2NE of Camelot.
BG 1W of Provolutia.
BG 1SW of Provolutia.

"Western Fanatannia"

Clear out the forest 1E of Bentley with 2 workers.
Irragate the cattle.
Turn 3 - If there's any active workers left in this region, and no extra worker has been built, head it over to Provolutia to mine any needed tiles. Otherwise, head for the hill 1NE of Donsignia.

(spoiler tags posted so that you don't flood the IRC server when you cut & paste. ;))
Spoiler :

Code:
Current Workforce: 4 workers. I need atleast 2 more - perhaps some from Camelot.

[b][u]Camelot[/u][/b]

STATUS: Stalled Growth (size 6, no river)
TARGET: 10spt. Unmined mountain + mined BG (bonus grassland) tile will reach this goal.
ACTION: Mine bonus grassland 2NE of city, and 1 tundra tile.
EXCESS: +3 food. The mountain can be used instead of the irragated wines, as expansion is all but over.

[b][u]Provolutia[/u][/b]

STATUS: Size 2, +4fpt, no river (take the forest tile off for quicker growth).
TARGET: 10spt. Intense mining needed.
ACTION: Mine 3 bonus grassland, and chop both forests. Needs cultural expansion.
EXCESS: +4 max. This is good, as it needs to grow.

[b][u]Donsignia[/u][/b]

STATUS: Size 3. Approx. 10% corruption. River Site!
TARGET: 11-16spt (1 for corruption). Needs to be non-despotic to irragate.
ACTION: Republic/Monarch needed for irragation effect. Mining of hills and culture needed.
EXCESS: +3fpt at max. Irragate cattle for more growth.

[b][u]Roosting Tree[/u][/b]

STATUS: Size 1. Approx. 10% corruption. River Site!
TARGET: > 5spt. Needs culture expansion for full assessment.
ACTION: Build culture! Non-despotic irragation needed for hills and mountains.
EXCESS: +2fpt.

[b][u]Bentley[/u][/b]

STATUS: Size 2. Approx. 40% shields lost to corruption.
TARGET: 5spt.
ACTION: Needs culture. In danger of flipping.
EXCESS: +2fpt.

[b][u]Proposed Site[/u][/b]

STATUS: Size 0. Surrounded by the Dutch.
TARGET: ?.
ACTION: Needs culture and growth.
EXCESS: +2fpt.
Priority List: -

City Level	Reason
[b][u]Provolutia[/u][/b]	1	Plentiful bonus grassland tiles.
[b][u]Donsignia[/u][/b] 2	Potential Powerhouse, but lots of work needed.
[b][u]Camelot[/u][/b] 3	Almost there.
[b][u]Roosting Tree[/u][/b]	4	Cramped in, and needs to expand borders first.
[b][u]Bentley[/u][/b] 5	Huge flip risk.

DoI Request -

- Should any other workers be built, move group them with the "Eastern Fanatannia Worker".

- If possible, rename the workers in each group to represent their worker group. That way, my instructions could be a little easier.

i.e., "Worker - Fanatannia West", "Worker - Fanatannia East"

Remember, when in doubt, use the above guide! Make sure to put the 2 workers being built into a 2nd worker group. Camelot only needs that one other tile worked, then it's done. Provolutia and Donsignia are the next cities to, well... beef up.

The DoI takes no responsibility for the newly proposed city. ;)

Instructions
The External Consulates Policy is linked >>HERE<<

This policy may be used as a guide by the president who has the latitude to make decisions within my remit that are in line with this policy and no specific instructions from the tactical branch exist.

The only specific instructions I have are:-
1. Do not buy horseback riding unless it is the only tech that prevents us reaching the MA.
2. Do not buy Map Making as a monopoly.

Gifting China and establishing embassies can wait until the discussion and polling procedures have completed.

Director of Expansion

EDITED: Settle our next settler on the tile outlined really dark, and really black. You can't miss it!

*Finish researching philosophy.

*Try to get the republic via the "What's the big picture?" option. Otherwise, choose construction.

*Begin research on currency at the maximum you can while maintaining a profit of at least -4gpt.

Domestic Consulate Instructions

* If we get a government tech (using Republic slingshot or research, etc) stop the chat to discuss a revolution or not!

* In coordination with the DoI's plans, please try to get our cities to their target spt goals.

Governor's Instructions (void if Noldodan posts, and finds his Civ3 disk)
1. Do not allow the connection of Bentley to a road system. (overlap with DoI's instructions).
2. Change the build in Bentley from regular warrior to Barracks.
3. Bentley should build only vet warriors after the barracks is completed.

Build Queues:
Camelot: Settler -> Worker -> Swords
donsignia: Swords
Roosting Tree: Barracks -> Swords
Bentley: Barracks -> Warriors
Provolutia: Barracks -> Worker -> Swords

Micromanagement
Change Roosting Tree from working the mined BG to the BG on the river. Then allocate the mined BG tile to donsignia from the regular grassland so it can get to 5 spt. Change Provolutia from the forest to BG for quicker growth. When it grows, make the new tile the forest.

Commander's Instructions
Move Tiger-Moth into Provolutia and fortify it there.
Move Clubbings in the Northeasterly direction'
Move HMS Inquisitor in the Southwesterly direction (Unless there is no more water to go southwest in, then move in the northwesterly direction untill it has no more coastal wayers to move into, If this happens, please let me know so that I can give that unit orders in the middle of the turn chat since the land formation beyond this point is unknown at this point)

Newly built Swordsmen shall be moved to donsignia for assembely.

Order of renaming for newly built units
Jonah Lomu
Octavian XI
Swiss Guard
ANZAC
Tuor
Hadrian

For now, follow the Resource and Technology Consul's instructions, though I will note that I believed he has reached far beyond his given authority in making those commands.

At the end turnchat, go ahead and establish an embassy with China.

Feel free to make all reasonable tech trade deals that involve Philosophy and Construction - those that are profitable to us. Do NOT trade for either Horseback Riding (we still may want to upgrade chariots). Also hold off on Map Making, as it is still expensive.

I may not be present for the beginning of the chat. "The Boss" a.k.a. my wife has invited me to go shopping with her so she can look at digital cameras and tell me which one I should buy for her birthday. I'll be back as soon as I can without causing marital strife. ;)

Edit: reprieved, looks like we won't be going till after 5pm so I will be able to play -- probably. ;)

Culture and city names:

nothing from culture.

City names:
The next city founded should be named Oxford.

Preturn Save
Turn 6 Untouched (Thus just like turn 5 at the end of turn)
Turn 10

President DaveShack needed to go during turn 2, so the job to play the save was handed down to me.

WAR!!!
Fanatannia is at war with two nations: Persia and Japan. Both demanded mathematics from us but we told them where to shove their demands. After trying to do so, they were angry over their injuries and declared war. There is no immediate threat as they are literally on the other side of the continent.

Two New Cities Are Founded!
The city of Oxford was founded as planned in 1175BC. However, the Indians snuck in the city of Karachi in our southern tundra. How will this affect our war plans with them? Only time will tell.

Philosophy Gambit Works!
We are the first civilization to discover philosophy, thus construction is now known by us. Diplomacy with the Byzantines reveal that they were close behind us!

Foreign Matters Grow!
Aside from war with the Persians and Japanese, we have discovered the French and the Portuguese mainland. Also, an embassy was established with China. Look at what was discovered! Quite interesting!

So it looks like we need to get a few more discussions started and decide where we want to go. I end this summary with two screenies of our mainland: regular and zoomed out. Enjoy!
