Interested In Units

Hey. I am really interested in unit modding and I was hoping someone could give me step by step instructions on how to go about creating units & multi-units. I have the time (usually) and the required resources needed to work on unit making. I know that there is a readme.text file on how to use FLICster to create units but I get a little confused. Thnx, to anyone who can help me understand how to create units (using FLICster) and speacial thnx to all programmers out there (including modders, the good kind).

NOTE: "vanilla" Civ3 only (v1.29f)
