I just installed BTS and it appears to run fine, except several things appear to not work. When I run a game, I only get the map. I do not get the interface (unit info, city info, links to advisor menus, turn, other civ info, etc). When I attempt to use the keys to bring up the advisor panels, nothing happens. The esc menu button works, but when I try to select options, nothing happens. Additionally, the civopedia does not launch when at the first menu after loading the game.
The toggle keys for the interface (Alt-I and Ctrl-I) don't work. I have tried installing the variety of patches and rolling back to earlier patches. I've removed and reinstalled the game. Nothing seems to work.
Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it?
