Internet option for multiplayer not showing

Hello. I have the game Civilization III Complete for macintosh and would like to play multiplayer on the internet, but the only game type options that show when I click Multiplayer from the main menu are LAN, Hotseat, and Play by E-mail. How do I get the option to play on the internet?

I don't think Internet play is supported any more. You used to be able to use GameRanger for Mac-to-Mac Internet games, but I think that died with the Rev A patch.
