"Invalid Civ III Scenario File"

my civ 3 conquests map editor wont load any maps from scenarios ive downloaded.please help! it just says "invalid civ 3 scenario file".

Do you have the latest patch?

Are you using the proper map editor? For instance, not trying to open a Conquets scenario with the regular Civ3 editor?

Do you mean theres a patch for the editor or just the latest patch for C3C? cause i have the latest patch for C3C. and yes i tried both civ 3 and C3C scenarios. its just when i open my civ 3 map editor a screen deal comes up and it says "invalid Civ 3 scenario file". after this it comes on and you can make a map you just cant edit one thats already made because it wont pull it up. im doing this so i can make some civs playable on some of these scenarios.

Might be a corrupted download. Might be a corrupted install. Try redownloading, and if that doesn't work, reinstall.

Sorry, can't think of anything else that will work. C3C should open Civ3 and PTW scenarios.
