Has anyone on these forums invented a game on their own (boardgame, cardgame and such) or is perhaps a programmer so they can program their own computer games? I'm just wondering as my cousin and I invented a new game on last Thursday (pretty fun, it's about war, we called it Warfare)

I'll explain the rules in brief (it's quite complicated): Every player get eight cards at the start of the game. With these cards he must conquer his opponent's cards to get special combinations of nobles (Kings, Queens), spies (Knights) or commoners (the rest). Every colour has its own value, and the King and Queen has special values. If a spy visits an opponent, the opponent must lay down the cards that this spy shows (commoners, nobles or spies). If a spy is accompanied by a noble, he may bribe 50 % of the enemy's army. That's about it, really.

i think that i am about to start building my own idea for a boardgame, check out, why dont we just make our own boardgame, in this same forum. so whats your game like?

I once created a card game from the original game of WAR and in this card game it is a lot more deaper than card, card I Win it alows four people to play and you have much more say in your placement!

I have done several games in my past, my favorite being a WWII version of Richtofen's War, which was a great WWI AH game. I also made a miniatures game on WWII using toy soldiers and such. The old game of Utopia (On Intellivision) my uncle remade for table top play, and it worked out pretty good. We also did a AD&D game that worked pretty well, but character progression was such a pain in the butt that we quit playing it.
Anyway...
Why create a board game when we could never play it against each other???
