In the last IQ test I took, I scored 139. I don't have time at present, but I will take the IQ test to which you link and report my result. That way, we will have a better basis of comparison.

144 on the first test and 137 on the second, for what it's worth. I don't know just how accurate some of these quick tests really are.

But all Civ players are naturally intellegent of course.

Oh geez you guys make me feel stupid. Ive jsut turned 14 and my score was 98. I cant beleive that because i thought i was really smart at my school, but i am proven wrong.


Well, i kind of rushed through it. Didnt read that I had 12 FREAKIng minutes!! Ok i will try again...

Don't sweat it, earendil. As I mentioned before, these tests are practically meaningless. Besides, at your age, the results are even more meaningless, because you lack life-experience. If you're doing well in school, just press on!

(Besides, I agree with Chieftess: I find it hard to believe that 25 out of 40 respondents have 130+ IQs. )

If you think about it, the people here would tend to do well on the sort of test Gainybo linked to. We all write, which is something the test was aimed at. People who don't write don't come to this type of website.

Umm i retook the test again, slower this time, and i got a 131. But im sure that part of that is due to the fact that I already took the test.

I got an IQ around 70-80. This is a real drawback for me. The computer is just to smart for me and constantly wips me out.
When I do multiplayer games I hear them on the other side of the globe laughing.

I'm greater than 130...but...does anyone else think that the IQ system is elitist, silly, meaningless, contrived, and demeaning?

To reduce one's "intelligence" into a single scalar value is incredibly silly imho...
