Is Common Core Math Good or Bad?

THE military? Is there only one "military" in the world and all of history? Banal nationalist slip detected! :p

Yes, THE military. As in current era military that are basically all the same in some ways despite their various nationalities. I've been involved in exercises that included a whole lot of different navies, and everyone uses zulu time. So there! :)

It took me a while to figure out, but I actually identified more with "enemy" sailors than I did with my civilian countrymen.

Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawkings would have gotten nowhere if they limited themselves to "real numbers."
√-1 is a classic imaginary number appearing in Calculus, formula such as (2 - i)(2 + i) are approved already.

I enjoy to create my own Dozenal PC keyboard, of course, I won't force anyone to use it unlike the Democrats and their common core programs, I do hard core math.

In most hard core experiences CFCer are exposed to, one mistake means death and end of game.

Spoiler :

Or, multiple partners all of whom have tattoos. ;)

There is no such setting (unless self-imposed) in Civ2 - the Mater Iteration of the Game!

I was not referring to Civ, but to all the games with a Hard core mode that ends that characters play upon death. It was not a serious post.

Well, those are kinds of games I do not enjoy and never play, so the term was only familiar in vague, misty, 3rd person references here and there. I play strategy games and MMO's, almost entirely.

Hard core is pretty uncommon.
The behind scene is always uncommon because they are harder, however I need them, so I can figure out my Common Core Math and other tasks faster.

I have the fully functional 2 new symbols and their font functions for the dozenal math, so I can recolor them to show the multiples of 3 and 6 in cyan and blue as well as the primes in red.

IMO a lot of teachers complain about change, period. What is especially frustrating is any time a new system of teaching or for tracking learning is used, everyone immediately attacks it as a failing, unworkable system. The truth is that the nature of education means a new policy/system needs at least 5 years to show results, and I'd argue a full assessment really can't be done until you've had entire an cohort go through the updated system from birth through secondary school.
Check out this common core math lesson online -

The fraction multiplications are the hardest parts of the common core math, I tried myself, it seemed work pretty good on my side. Finally figured out a functional way to divide them up -
