Only after we all buy 15Ghz computers is that we will have AI that are actually inteligent until then we will have to allow all the AIs to cheat in order for them to compete with us.

The CPU speed isn't what makes the AI bad, the CPU speed is the speed at which the computer makes calculations. The AI is a bunch of cause-and-effect blocks.

ie: Cause: Player declares war on AI, Effect: AI becomes furious.

There are other more complicated formulas, but the problem with the AI is that it was poorly programmed.

I do blame Firaxis, because they didn't do the best they could!
