Is it possible to change the game font?

Returned to Civ 2 after some years.

Now feeling that the serif font of the game (Times) does not feel easy on the eyes, unlike modern fonts (Roboto, for instance).

Is there any way to change the game font, as well as its size?

I'm pretty sure that the game takes your system fonts to use for most or all of the text it displays. I've been playing Civ II on Linux using WINE, and the fonts used are different from when playing on Windows, so I imagine that the game is asking for system fonts (and WINE probably doesn't have the original font for copyright reasons).

If you don't need that particular font in other contexts, you might be able to replace it in your system.
