Is PTW included in conquests?

I mean all the the CIVs, maps and scenarios thet come with PTW

The civs are in conquests but not the maps and sceanario's.

However the maps and scenarios can all be downloaded from this site anyway. So no reason to buy PTW.

Where do you download them from on this site? I tried downloading them from the Civ 3 site a dozen times and the zip files don't work.

yep, me too -bad zips.
find units under unit graphics- loulong's PTW extra non c3c ww2 units and loulong's PTW dinos (use index)

TETurkhan Test of time under user created maps.

insert WWII units in Civ3PTW\extras\WWII\Art\Units

insert dinos in Civ3PTW\Art\Units

some scenarios on fanatics require british infantry import them from ww2 pacific scenario (Anzac) - change folder and INI name to British.

then check out Aeldriks WWIIXXL scenario read down his thread to gather the other units from WWII pacific that need to be put in the Civ3PTW\extras\WWII\Art\Units folder. one of posts give a list.


now download TETurkhan Test of Time (full and 1.93) unzip in main Civ3 folder. - Goodluck

put in (create)-- "CIV3PTW\extras\World War II" - folder.
NOTE folder name difference compared to my first post! Sorry I realized only after this download.


hope this helped it took me a while when I needed it to find-realize all the folders (structure) needed if you don't own PTW- just conquests. I'm pretty sure this is correct as I now have been able to play some scenarios on here but I'm still workin on gettin Meateater and Pheonix's WWII scenarios to work. About to try again........

You could have started a new thread, and Creation and Customization is probably a better place.

That said, what exactly are you looking for? Something missing in your extras folder? What do you want to do with these missing things? Have you tried looking for it on this site in the C&C section? More information would be appreciated.

They took the extras down from Firaxis a long time ago. You may be able to get them in AoI 3.0. I know one of those mods added in some of the WWII units that was needed.

I see 5 folders in the extra directory. I had install PTW in its own directory to test something.
