Is the AI more aggressive post-patch?

Are they more likely to DOW on you now before the Renaissance Era? I play on Prince for the most part since that's sufficient enough a challenge for me.

Or just what improvements has the AI seen in terms of diplomacy?

I think It's the same with post-patch. I can avoid any wars, if I don't want.
