Is the MP patch out for the Civ3 GameoftheYear edition?

Hello,I'm a little confused with what I read on various forum,being a civ fan from the start,Civ1,Colonization,Civ2 and Civ3,I wanted to know if at last we're able to play Civ on the net.

From what I heard it is possible,but complicated with The Expansion Pack,but I'm not sure,could somebody set me straight please?

You'll need PTW (Play the World), the expansion pack, to be able to play CivIII MP.

CivIII, Game of the Year Edition, is vanilla CivIII AFAIK; meaning no MP.

There're some issues with MP as it's right now, but depending on the ping and computer settings, it's workable. We hope these will all be fixed in the expected coming patches for PTW.
