Is there a big difference in the mods here?

I am downlading road to war and i also saw the historical version.if i downlaod both of these will i be able to choose which 1 i want to play or will it overwrite the 1st mod.also is there a big difference in these 2 popular mods?thank you.

There is actually 3 mods here.

RTW - Original v1.0 (upto ADDON2), which came with BTS and is installed in ...\Beyond the Sword\Mods\The Road to War
RTW - Ultimate v1.1, which overwrites the "original"
RTW - Historical (based on the Original), which goes into it's own Mod (...\Beyond the Sword\Mods\The Road to War - Historical) folder and can be played with the others installed.
