Is there only a very limited interest in literary threads?

I can't debate Ullysees I can't understand it at all, and I've tried. The Count of Monte Christo though has a great moral message, and a really clever set of paybacks that thrill the reader and leave you wanting more, the same is true of Crime and Punishment, it sweeps you along and the insights into the mind of a killer are truly profound.

Your missing out Xanikk some novels are more educational than text books.

I dont like reading stories its just plain boring

RPG video games are interactive and the ones i play have a great storyline.

Just like a book except its interactive and visual.

And i only find reading fun when im reading non-fiction such as science or history.

Actually, I didn't start on Ulysses either; I generally don't care for books where you have to have a reference book handy just to make sense of them.
The Count probably isn't the best example though as Sidhe rightly pointed out; how about A Hundred Years of Solitude instead ?

I just wrote a paper on how Hamsun's Pan and Hunger are early examples of Modernist writing if anybody's interested :cooool:
