you can trade world maps

every vassalized civ i have made when ahead on tech doesn't have my maps of the world....after a few turns, they usually ask for the maps

one needs to open borders to them also

If they get your techs, they should also get your map... possibly just give them Your map of Thier continent (if that would be doable).. otherwise just give them Your whole map.

They should at least have a map of your continent, since that's where the settlers came from. At the moment they seem to forget everything they once knew when they land on "Amnesia Island".

Well the simplest would be to give them your map (they know the stuff that's just out of the labs but missed the Geography courses)
