So I am playing as Russia (Cat) on terra map, prince, I destroyed mongolians by like 1000 BC and split the old world in half. Am best friends with Victoria to the west and Ragnar on the east, around 1300 Vic kept offering to become my vassal! She was ahead of me by about 4-5 techs (easy ones) but i was ahead in score by like 800 and had a huge military (conquest game). Then Ragnar started doing the same thing! I have never had that happen before, even though I had like +30 happiness with them they became my vassals. They eventually renounced it and it gave me the option kind of like we first met "There shall be peace in our time" or "your head would look good on the end of a pole". Does this happen often when you are very strong?
Also when I started settling the new world my economy was fluctuating like crazy! I had about 10k saved up so it wasn't a big deal, but one turn it would be like +74 and the next it would be -45 or something, back and forth! does this happen often?
