I'd like to know how to set up a "training camp" for military promotions. I've already seen how to make Veterans trainable at a university, but I'd like to also be able train for experience points.
I think it's possible to add citizens to the fortress and maybe even ships to the shipyard although I won't have the citizen "cutout" graphic. Gonna go try that after I post.
Ship training would be nice too. As it is the only way to get any Ship-of-the-Lines ready to take on the King's Man-of-Wars is to "train" on the other Civs. This forces a peaceful player to either fight the King purely defensively or to build a huge fleet.
Maybe someone here knows how to do this or can at least point me toward things to try.
Hmmm, just had a thought: maybe make Great Generals able to be taught at a university as a work-a-round. But real training would be a better solution.
