I'd be a little worried about the close borders. In BtS the AI has a horrible tendency to bring allies into wars they start (they don't even need to bribe with techs >:X). If those two get chummy, which they will because both their favourite civics is HR, you'll have a hard time attacking one because they'll bribe the other into war, and at that close proximity they may well decide to gangbang you.

Well, I can't build wonders if I have Ragnar and Paccy attacking me. I deaalt with them and them chopped the great wall and built the mids....and some other wonders too. Nothing more relaxing than being alone on a big continent with the GW too keep out the barbs.....I built one archer per city until Astronomy.....I think I actually built more wonders than military units

Maybe it's just my aggressive gaming streak, but you can build all those juicy wonders after you have secured your empire. And, of course, by your I mean your neighbor's.
