The Flavian Amphitheater is the colosseum. It's one of the biggest landmarks in Rome and one of the best examples of Roman architecture still standing. It should be a wonder.

I'd say St. Peter's Basilica is worthy if the nearby Sistine Chapel is.

The Florence Cathedral would be great also: and I'm pretty sure they use it in a picture for the Renaissance.

Though its probably less significant, the Trevi Fountain could have a fun effect for aquaducts: it stands at the end of what was an ancient Roman aquaduct.

And of course, we gotta put the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa

Wouldn't they just make Las Vegas, the city, into a wonder then. Way more wondrous ;) (probably not a word).

My nomination goes to things outside of Europe, The Petronas Towers instead of the World Trade Center, Akashi Kaikyo instead of the Golden Gate, Itaipu Dam/3 Gorges instead of Hoover Dam, Maracana instead of Wembley, you get the drift I suppose.

Nevertheless I want to propose a European wonder:

Gotthard Railway Tunnel. 19th century impressive industrial feat, even if not particularly visible (as it's inside the mountain ;)).

Then there's the Trans-Siberian Railway, Lalibela Churches, Potala Palace, Banaue Rice Terraces, Crystal Palace and of course the aforementioned ones.

Its not exotic, but I think Mount Rushmore could fill a slot.

I love building and seeing wonders in Civ, so the more the merrier for me.

Preferably, though, the bonuses given to the wonder say something about it while being unique from a game-play perspective.

If another U.S. wonder wouldn't be over the top, perhaps the Gateway Arch.

It was built to commemorate the westward expansion of the U.S. and the pionering spirit of the settlers.

I'd hate to see every new wonder come from the modern first world countries, though.

Ladies and gentleman,

PRAMBANAN

This impressive feat of architecture located in Java, Indonesia attracts tourists from around the world

They won't include it though because it would give a religious bonus, which is too similar to Borobudur

Beautiful, I hope the devs or some clever moders think of good stats for it.

This and Banaue Rice Terraces would add a bit more diversity to the mix.

Yeah I was watching something on TV about a theoretical future of Earth after humans are gone. As they went through everything that would simply vanish, disentigrate, or decay, they specifically mentioned that Mount Rushmore would be around for millennia after after humans are gone. .......that is straight wonder status right there! Good one!

+1 To Banaue Rice Terraces idea :D

Paoay Church really offers the best mixture of Hispanic, Philippine and Chinese architecture. It also displays a unique similarity to Borobudur :)

Using this map of wonders.

Spoiler :
wwsy.jpg

It's clear there needs to be more wonders from the Americas, Africa, Middle East, and Asia. In other words, anywhere that isn't Europe.

North America wonders:

Monks Mound: From the largest city in pre-Columbian America north of Mexico, Cahokia
Spoiler :
640px-Monks_Mound_in_July.JPG

Cliff palace: Part of the Pueblan city of Mesa Verde
Spoiler :
MesaVerdeNationalParkCliffPalace.jpg

Hollywood: If Broadway is in, I don't see a problem with Hollywood.
Spoiler :

Mt. Rushmore: One of the iconic wonders of the US, along with the Statue of Liberty.
Spoiler :
Mount_Rushmore_National_Memorial.jpg

Nazca Lines: Ancient structures that shapes are only visible from space? Awesome!
Spoiler :
Nazca_monkey.jpg

Panama Canal: This could be the canal improvement everyone is looking for. Maybe, when selecting the wonder, you can select tiles (in a straight line) you want ships to be able to travel through and the construction time depends on how many tiles you selected.
Spoiler :

Africa/Middle East:

Dome of the Rock: Holy place to three major religions.
Spoiler :
Temple_Mount.JPG

Kaaba: Brings lots of tourists to Makkah and is very sacred for Islam.
Spoiler :
Mosquée_Masjid_el_Haram_à_la_Mecque.jpg

Temple of Solomon: I'm starting to think religion exclusive wonders to make you really think about which religion you should choose.
Spoiler :
Jerusalem_Ugglan_1.jpg

Göbekli Tepe: A monument like Stonehenge that predates agriculture.
Spoiler :
Gobekli_Tepe_2.jpg

Göbekli_Tepe.jpg

Sphinx: I'm suprised this isn't already a wonder.
Spoiler :
Great_Sphinx_of_Giza_-_20080716a.jpg

Great Zimbabwe: Since I don't see Zimbabwe getting into the game, we can at least put their capital as a wonder. It was the largest stone city south of the Sahara.
Spoiler :

Europe: (Yes, I said we had enough Europe wonders, but there is still a few I'd like to see)

Global Seed Vault: Stores seeds in case something happens to our current supply.
Spoiler :

Flavin Amphitheatre: It's the colosseum.
Spoiler :
Colosseum_in_Rome%2C_Italy_-_April_2007.jpg

Channel Tunnel: Could be like my Panama Canal idea, but allows land units to move across water without embarking.
Spoiler :

Asia:

Banaue Rice Terraces: Of course
Spoiler :

Leshan Giant Buddha: Largest pre-modern statue in the world. Plus, it's just amazingly beautiful.
Spoiler :
Leshan_Buddha_Statue_View.JPG

Goddess of Democracy: 10 meter tall statue created during the Tiananmen Square protests to rally the protestors. The original was destroyed after 10 days, but many replicas have been made.
Spoiler :
Goddess_of_Democracy_at_UBC.jpg

Juche Tower: Would make for a good Autocracy exclusive wonder
Spoiler :
Juche_Tower.jpg

And... I'm out of ideas! What do all of you think? :p

The Juche Tower looks kind of like the Monas

Spoiler :
MONAS-4.jpg
I guess it does! Juche Tower was completed about 20 years after Monas. I bet North Korea copied it! (Though, in reality, I bet it's hard to make an obelisk with a flame on top look different from another obelisk with a flame on top!)

I like them! I'd disagree with the Goddess of Liberty due to its lifetime, but it has had a lasting effect, so...
Sure, it was short lived and China would hate it, but still! It did have a pretty big impact late in the Tiananmen Square protests. I was merely throwing around things I knew in my head and I just read about the statue this morning, so it was fresh on my mind!

Panama Canal should have an affect that's along the lines of "naval units can pass through forts and citadels". You could do that in civ 4, and I sort of miss it
