Every time when i build the temple of artremis I get a temple in every City in the same continent. But when I research education the temple of artremis will be obsoltly and all temples in the cities are destroyed, so I must build the temples from the beginning. I Hate this

Don't build the Temple of Artemis.

In a game i was building the pyramids and 2 turs before finishing them the americans. "...that the american city of washington have finished the pyramids" :( So only the Temple of Artremis left and wasting 290 shields is not good...

By the time you lose the temples they've already done their job of expanding your cultural borders. And they're fairly cheap, so your more developed towns can just rebuild them where you still want them.

Also, any temples that were built before the ToA will be retained.

I have built the ToA once and compounded my anger by selling off all the temples I hand built.

I'll never build it qagain, though I have captured it a couple of times.

It is an ultimate weapon in the AA for instance for a 100k culture victory culture head- start, every time you build a city it starts to produce culture. Awesome.

I think it is a bug.

Some pointed out, it would be too strong if the temples would stay. Well, the effect of immediate new temples lasts not too long.

It can cause some problems when the temples are suddenly gone, e.g. you might need to use the luxury slider or even an entertainer.

Some might find a use, it think the ToA is just annoying and the least desirable Wonder.

It is working exactly as the designers intended. They wanted them to disapear to keep it from being the kmost powerful wonder.

I find it useful in conjunction with a rapid expansion strategy (especially if I got the GL).

I get irritated when the AI right next to me builds the ToA because then all of my cultureless cities start flipping to them.

I works as the designers intended, and they intended it to work in a really stupid way. Could they not have come up with a better, NOT overpowered and reasonably well working wonder?

There are much more things that are overpowered or crappy in Civ3, this weird Temple should have been dropped and replaced with a better wonder. It works best in the Conquest-scenarios, and there it is so much overpowered as warpstorm said it would be.

TOA is one of the best wonder to buil if you are a warmonger. Whenever you capture a city, it already producing culture and it have more happiness.

Culture flip? whats that??

One city joins another Civ because it is compelled by the other Civ's culture.

I kno what is it! its just that when conquering the world, having the TOA almost prevent any culture flip.

To "fix" it, I propose the following: The ToA should give an (unbuildable, new) improvement to every town. That improvement should give one happy face and 2culture per turn, so you could still build temples, if you want.
