Movies skip a lot for me, especially the intro one - I've not been able to view it at all. My laptop is only 6 months old with Core 2 Duo, ATI Radeon X1400 with 128MB dedicated video memory.

3.03 is crap - a well documented fact. All the issues you have said are wholly documented in the Bugs Forum. Might want to look there about the "waiting for civilizations" bug, it hasn't happened to me since 3.02 (I am still using 3.02 + solvers/Blakes patch - Blake is doing a lot of the AI and code fixes).

My movies work fine thank you very much. It may have something to do with an inadequate graphics card or buggy drivers for such.

Buggiest game ever? I don't think you've played that many different games then...

P.S. You just stated three bugs..... sheesh, and I thought I was going into a full report on the bugs of Civ IV.
