I don't know exactly what Elta's aunt said, but if she said that those 3 women set an unobtainable or impossible standard, then I agree she was wrong*. If she said that the way women are depicted in the media sets an unreasonable standard, then I agree completely, and I think this thread has done a fine job of proving it. The fact that those women are considered average at best by most posters in this thread speaks volumes about what people have come to expect from female bodies.

I voted for "impossible standard" anyway because I chose to answer the poll question based on what Elta's aunt probably meant instead of what she may have said. And yes, that is rather presumptuous of me .

Well, they simply are average compared to the women I see everyday. How would you rate them ?

I would say that I have to start hanging out wherever you are because the women in that commercial are much better looking than most of the women I see everyday. Unless of course you include other women portrayed in the media as women I see everyday...

I don't watch TV and rarely movies, so the women I see are nearly exclusively actual, real women.
And I fail to see how particularly good the ones in this video are.
Not that they are bad or anything else, but they are, well, average.

They look normal. The pressure shouldn't be on women to be skinny, the pressure should be on men to be skinny. It's normal for women to have higher body fat percentage. We get pregnant etc... Men have no excuses.

dont make excuses for your weight problems, get outside and workout bast.
