You could have retreated and recover from losses...no, i planned finish everyday-turn game when winter's over anyway, or give this to play to someone else, cause i have to. I'm just glad to make such a realistic end

There has to be something wrong with the barbarians. There's ing 5 stacks within 2 squares of my cities. Not sure if it's safe to try settling new cities and it's a miracle the cities I did settle haven't been raped yet. Does this happen for every pbem game?

What do you guys think about using the pbem editing tool to change one of the computers into a new human? We'd just need to find a volunteer who would be ok with behing extremely far behind in cities and we could give him free technology to catch up.
Well it would be interesting but really wierd.. idk I have no strong feelings towards either side.

Regarding making one of the AIs controlled by a human:
- First of all I think all three AI positions are so hopeless, even if we give them all techs... E.g. Uesugi have one town of size 2 lol. Even the strongest AI, the Mori, have only 3 towns, whereas Rick is already at 13 towns, I at 12. Why bother having a human player being tortured with a mess like that?
- If we really wanted another player, we should have looked for a replacement for Sting a few turns back. Instead of commiting "Harakiri" and leaving the entire middle-northern half to Rick, another player could have offered some resistance and could've kept the game in balance a bit longer...
- Never mess with the save files, you'll only get into devil's kitchen.
