Just checking in. It's Saturday afternoon and I'm at work. We hope to have our furnace hooked up by Monday night. Once we get the heat back on we should be able to go back home. Once we can go home I'll be back in the SGs. My computer is fine. We have 3 or 4 power outlets that still work and my computer is on one of them!:)

Only played 3 turns - to test.

1625 - We got yet another GL. :rolleyes: :) Sent back to Kyoto. Captured Rostov, Lisht.

1630 - Captured Astrakhan. O forgive me, donsig, but Egypt has been destroyed. :D

Built some hospitals; interspaced with building some inf. We need more.

I needed a little time off, I have much bigger problems now. :(

I am no longer going to play, at least not until the MP is out, ofcourse. :D

Well, the elctrical fire we had toasted our furnace. We hope to have a new one in by the weekend. For those of you near the equator: it still gets down around freezing at night here!

Anyway, we're staying at my sister's place for now. I shall return (someday).

BTW: K-D I don't care about Egypt in this game. I :love: :egypt: in our Chinese game!

But I am. Suffering fr SG weariness fr playing too many months (since Dec?). Have upped the luxury level (sleep more) and imported a few luxuries (PS2) but the effects are showing. Some brain cells have to be chged to entertainers to put down unrest. :) :p :crazyeye:

donsig's skipping I think so too, so Ohwell's up.

I will be skipping games for a bit.
Even the biggest civs junkies have 1 limitation - a working PC.
I have to ship my PC back for repair :(

Right now my schedule is (USA east coast time).

Wed Night - Playing
Thur Night - No PC, can't play.
Fri Night - No PC, can't play.
Sat All day - some PC access, will see what I can complete.
Sun All day - No PC, can't play.
Mon Night - Question Mark - might have the laptop back - no guarantee.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have been tempted to drop this one.
I am very tempted to start a new thread - LK24 orphan rescue and enforce strict 24 / 48 hour time. Some one prove me wrong please....
 
The electrician is working on my house even now. Hope to be home tonight - if so I can play succession games in a day or two!:)
