Well, I like it anyway.

sadly the reign of prince sand would not be a happy one as the one before yet happier than some soon to come. it began with useless advise which i took as a bad omen.
show19so.jpg

i started, there was not much i could do since my varriants held me down from attacking.

during my turns we managed to defend our cities.
show26cp.jpg

however many cottages where simple working folk live. were lost to the wrath of axe and bow.

nieghbours with wandering eyes and smug lips offered open thier borders for trade, or maybe so those eyes could take a closer look into our cities defences. however it is far for that civilaisation
show37da.jpg

nearing the end i saw a convey of troops that seemed not to bring gifts of peace for years but quite the opppisite. this came at a time when our civilistion was struggling to pull together funds
show44ki.jpg

alough only a few man squad armed with only axe and chariot.
show54ce.jpg

i sensed more to come. from a leader with such power

in all areas of rule.

as prince sand decieded it was time to hand over his throne he wished this dream that would ,he hoped, stay in the mind of aall. this is his wish
that our neighbors citezens and wonders will soon belong to mighty england. that there shall be peace with are new nieghbours after that.
then will come a time when are troops will dress in coats coloured red, then our county will have there right to free speech, and the other countys will be jealous of our socioty. but not for long though as our new troops in red will crush alll oponents they will fight for cenurys untill the outcome is clear. a sea of culture that is white.

by saying "a sea of culture that is white" i meant it in a way that the map would be full of englands culture whic colour is white, like americas is blue. incase you though i was being racist.

it was quite fun writing it a style i'll try that when i have uneventfull turns. it was also hard trying to say plans so that corny dream thing was incase you hadn't guessed a plan is disguise.

I am playing from my sisters computer and am having some trouble. I have played my turns, but lost my writeup when trying to upload the save game. I am sending a message to the fanatics site to see if they know of a solution. When I tried to upload the save it just beeped at me, and then I did something that sent me to the log in screen and wiped out my summary.

Here is a quick summary in the meantime. The game had its own fiasco. When I clicked the end of turn button Saladin unbelievably declared war on me, and no, one of my variants is not to declare war at the start of my turn and blame it on the AI. I was able to wipe out Saladin's invasion force with minimal losses. The military continues to expand and Turfan looks ripe to be taken except for a triple upgraded city defender archer which will cost us a unit or two. I founded a new city in the south east to move the empire in that direction and acquire needed resources. The workers got busy producing cottages to help our pathetic income state.

I will try to post the save later tonight if I can get some help with the upload.

Got uploading working, so here is a picture of Turfan ripe for the taking.

It is hard to give advice with the variants, but just a couple observations. We are in deep trouble. Qin does not even want to consider peace, probably because there is nothing in it for him. Kublai' land is natural for expansion, since Gandhi is the only leader that is a potential friend. Turfan can be taken relatively easily. We need to get some cottaging going.

I will be out of touch until either Sunday or Monday night.

I don't think we're in that much trouble. Our economy is in trouble, but our production is fine. I assume we are going for construction for cats? We don't really need them for this war.

Early: Turfan is lightly defended and we take it, losing only one sword. Though it looks like a good GP farm in theory, we may want to cottage it given the state of our economy. On the variant side, one of ngraner's seems to be to stop city growth as much as possible. Most of my inherited builds are swords, which is fine but after this round some archers or axes might be nice. Swords are only good for taking cities, and only then if you can pillage your opponents iron.

Middle: We raze Ning-Hsia, another lightly defended city in our south. I decide to raze it because it will hurt our economy and it will not provide much commerce. Scouting ahead with chariots, Karakorum is revealed. It is only defended by three archers, so we should be able to take it. What is with the light defense here?

Late: Gathering forces near Karakorum. We should be able to begin the assault in a turn or two. I don't know if we want to take it or raze it, I'll leave it to the next player or the team to decide. After the war, we need to really start working the commerce tiles. We also need more happiness. I suggest a research path of Construction-Alphabet(for trading)-Priesthood-Monarchy(revolt to Hereditary Rule). That should keep our economy alive until we get to currency and CoL.

Sorry there are no screenshots, the function is not working for some reason.
