For map and terrain inspiration, take a look at the Ultima scenario, which has some quite inspiring graphics work.
Have you read the Dragonlance novels? Someone (don't remember his name, sorry) was working on a scenario about the War of the Lance (from these novels), and it looked pretty promising. Apparently it was never finished, but he sent me his files. There's lots of ideas we can use, or alternatively, we could finish it, with his permission. Its a damn inspiring story anyway.
I never finished it because I had to go back to college. And there just isn't all that much free time when you go to a military school.
If anyone wants my files then just ask. My only stipulation is that I get 1st dibs on the finished product.

Sorry for not getting back to this thread. Xeven & Fox, I have been under dire stress for the last couple of months in exam preparations. I probably won't have proper time for civ2 projects before well into June.

Xeven, lets get back to this when I have more time. I'm still interested in this project, and I think you shouldn't doubt your own abilities so much.

Anyway, I am up to over my head in exams preps, and on top of that caught a chance of actually getting to Africa this summer, to do a short film for television. This is something like a dream come true for me, so I gotta prepare project application etc, and cross my fingers.
