Will the Jotnar be resurrected as viable in 1.4? And while I'm nagging, is there an ETA on 1.4?

I'm not sure; I think the plan was to keep it in a seperate module from here on out because it's an unbalanced civ, sort of like the frozen. I'd probably say no though, if you mean will it be merged back into RiFE in the next release.

To your first question, I think the team do plan to fix them and integrate them back into the mod, but I don't know if it'll be with 1.4 or not.

For a longer answer.... The goal with the Jotnar is to trim the fat and condense them into a working civ. They are too bloated, too much feater sprawl. This MAY happen for 1.4, but it may also happen as a smaller patch requiring 1.4; No guarantee.

And as others said, 1.4 will be released when ready, and not one moment sooner. ;)
 
D'awwww. The bloat is what makes the Jotnar one of my favorite Civs. You can play them like seven different ways and all of them KICK ASS!
 
I actually enjoyed playing them in Fall Further, I thought the population and city radius limits made them quite different, but I know the RifE team changed that, so will be interested to see what they ultimately do here.
