I've been really busy lately and I haven't been able to keep up with the latest news. Do we expect a final 1.29 version any time soon?

Brad Oliver [thanks, Dojo] handed it over to Westlake as his final act before leaving them for pastures new. It's in the hands of their QA as I understand it.

Brad Oliver, not Bennett. ;)

Arrrrggghhhh!

Freudian slip there! Brad Bennett is an entirely different person from an entirely separate life! Good Catch

What happens if QA rejects the patch?

Not likely. I can't imagine a Brad Oliver final candidate build getting returned, particularly since Civ3 was his baby from the get-go.

I may contact MacSoft and Westlake about setting up a temporary maintenance contract if it comes down to that, but I don't expect I'll need to do that.

With Age of Mythology out the door and Halo wrapping up, I would expect that the Civ3 stuff will follow shortly thereafter (barring an influx of support issues on AoM and Halo after release).

Thanks for the info, Brad. :goodjob:
