You placed wrong kind of craters.
Replace FEATURE_LUNAR_CRATER with FEATURE_CRATER - its ingame name is simply "Crater"
Small/Medium/Large Crater is extraterrestrial ones.

Meteorite Lab (Modern) needs Crater, Earth Festival Great Wonder (Prehistoric) uses Cave or Crater features, and Myth - Stone from Sky (National Wonder - Prehistoric myth) needs Crater.

By the way make sure that every continent has one or two Ancient Relics - those are used by buildings.
Great Wonder - Rosetta Stone needs it anywhere, and UNESCO Heritage Site needs it in vicinity.

@raxo2222 uploaded the corrected version, made sure of it.

By the way, I vaguely remember something about lunar craters and them not being useful even in lunar terrain. Is that still the case?

Only one building - Lunar Observatory needs it.
Now it uses only Medium sized ones, I correct it so it uses two other sizes too.
This is Moon building.
Now you can drop few craters of each size (2 large, 4 medium and 8 small for example) on moon.

You forgot to place Ancient Relic resources for each civ - some buildings need this resource.

Large Solar System (v9)
  • There are now two Ancient Relics in every continent
  • The Moon now has lunar craters as Lunar Observatory needed them
  • Some river corrections in Europe.

And now it is in SVN.
Recent revisions must been quite of journey for SVN players :p

Quote the journey for you as well. Checking and recosting 3000 or so buildings is not easy.
Well I set globals and era cost modifiers to 100, also I have tech and building costs by Xgrid listed in excel file.
Toffer's pedia is instantaneous.
This meant I could instantly check if building cost was right.
I also made sure, that no building was unlocked earlier that its resource/building prereqs.
I added link to that list on SVN thread.

As per this thread (thanks @raxo2222 for bringing this up) here are a couple ways to deal with any memory allocation failures:
  • Go to Assets/XML/A_New_Dawn_GlobalDefines.xml and change SHOW_BUILDINGS_LEVEL to <iDefineIntVal>2</iDefineIntVal>. You can use 4 if you'd like to see wonders too.
  • For more extreme cases, go to Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\CivilizationIV.ini and change MemSaver to 1. This will prevent using alt-tab if in fullscreen however.

I always have MemSaver at 1, as I play in windowed mode.

Extreme measure would be usage of viewports.

@raxo2222, @Trantor Bringing the discussion here since I feel it's more appropriate given the map in question.

A turn took 2 minutes to me.

By the way for anyone curious here is how the map looks in the late modern era. Good job @Trantor

For me its around 3 minutes.
You guys you have nice CPUs.

He is playing on V38.5, on SVN he would be in Ancient era - he plays on Marathon (8000 turns).
Hes in 1549th turn - that is 19.36% of game, that is equivalent of Ancient era (it should start at 18.7% of game).

I guess WFL+TD is very strong even if you disable those benefits to player.
You can make more tribes on longer gamespeeds before you reach Sedentary Lifestyle.

yes, bought this machine only to speedup C2C. but ran into 45-55mins turns and was about to quit. decided to try one space map before quiting and imagine my surprise to see turns down to 2 mins even at this late stage.

after discovery of lunar base, my space shuttles stopped making the space station.
thus there are 4 space shuttles which can build nothing ..... what can I do with them?

Upgrade them to Heavy Rocket (needs commercial spaceflight).

Space stations can't be built within distance of two tiles just like cities.
