You placed wrong kind of craters.Large Solar System (v8)
- Made sure each civilizations had craters near them in order to allow them to build the Meteorite Lab building (reported by raxo2222)
You uploaded old versionGood catch!
Only one building - Lunar Observatory needs it.@raxo2222 uploaded the corrected version, made sure of it.
By the way, I vaguely remember something about lunar craters and them not being useful even in lunar terrain. Is that still the case?
And now it is in SVN.Large Solar System (v9)
- There are now two Ancient Relics in every continent
- The Moon now has lunar craters as Lunar Observatory needed them
- Some river corrections in Europe.
Well I set globals and era cost modifiers to 100, also I have tech and building costs by Xgrid listed in excel file.Quote the journey for you as well. Checking and recosting 3000 or so buildings is not easy.![]()
I always have MemSaver at 1, as I play in windowed mode.As per this thread (thanks @raxo2222 for bringing this up) here are a couple ways to deal with any memory allocation failures:
- Go to Assets/XML/A_New_Dawn_GlobalDefines.xml and change SHOW_BUILDINGS_LEVEL to <iDefineIntVal>2</iDefineIntVal>. You can use 4 if you'd like to see wonders too.
- For more extreme cases, go to Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\CivilizationIV.ini and change MemSaver to 1. This will prevent using alt-tab if in fullscreen however.
For me its around 3 minutes.@raxo2222, @Trantor Bringing the discussion here since I feel it's more appropriate given the map in question.
A turn took 2 minutes to me.
By the way for anyone curious here is how the map looks in the late modern era. Good job @Trantor

Upgrade them to Heavy Rocket (needs commercial spaceflight).after discovery of lunar base, my space shuttles stopped making the space station.
thus there are 4 space shuttles which can build nothing ..... what can I do with them?
