Key combo for Event Log

The manual indicates the the key combo to see the chat/event log is CMD-Tab, which, of course, switches away from the Civ IV program. Anyone found away around this?

Cmd-Ctrl-Tab works here (Warlords, but I assume it works for both).

In Civ IV Beyond the sword, it says CMD TAB is the shortcut in the hints section, but I have found that ALT TAB works just fine.

Especially useful when you want to look at your quests of course.
