keystoke to stop battle animation?

sometimes i feel like watching, sometimes i don't, i.e. 30 units vs. 40 units--RIDICULOUS

Go to the menu then to options and turn on/off "show enemy combat" or w/e it is (maybe "quick combat")

It would be nice, since sometimes you want the watch combats options on to keep track of your defenses, and sometimes you know you'll win/lose.

I only have watch offense switched off. Since when I'm attacking, I know I'm attacking.

My advice: turn on quick combat offense, and just know when you are about to be attacked by a large stack and turn on quick combat defense the turn before. Turn it back on again afterwards. That's the best I think you can hope for. I don't believe there is a keystroke.

I also have offense switched off,AFAIK there's no keystroke, i wonder if this sort of thing can be modded, probably not as you're right in an animation.
