This was requested by MaxRiga, took some time to do it, and I hope it is ok.
I forget how many Triangles is in it, sorry.

Uses the Default Carriers animations.

I am still bad at texturing, so the skin isn't the best, but hopefully it is good enough.

The darker part on the front is because I smoothed it in Blender so the rise would not be squarish. And I didn't smooth the rest of the flight deck because I did not want it to be rounded on the edges.

Oh well, if you want it matching I can do that Max..

I like it! The model’s great. The skin looks fine to me, not like that means anything, my texturing's horrible personally.

It was an interesting ship to work on, I have never done a regular carrier before. I have to say, it was much easier with the superstructure.

Nice detail texture used on the deck. I noticed you got that orangy-red colour the soviets used on top of ships nicely as well

Yeah, the deck was simple as I just took the blueprints and coloured them.
The orangey-red colour gave me fits with the Kirov, but here I just used the same colour. Getting it right on the Kirov was immensely frustrating, but it came in use eh?

Edit: Oh yes, send me those references for the transport whenever.. Or just tell me the class and I can look for blueprints.

The carriers has lift that move. Never knew that so, no I guess it doesn't, sorry..

But at this moment I do not think I am sufficiently advanced to figure that out. Maybe someday..

I must say I am very much over the whole animated eye candy of units. When your busy fiddling with 150 units on a large map and 3 civs are attacking you at once the last thing you do is go "ooooohhhh look how that tanks turret wiggles left and right!"

I am going to use it as a "special op" carrier, that can carry helicopters, paratroopers and marines, in addition to fighters.
