LAN Duel

I want to challenge my roomate to a LAN Duel game, but I have been playing this game since CIV 1 and he started on CIV 3 with me showing it to him


I'm looking for some suggestions on how to make it a fun game to play for both sides. He could play at prince difficulty and win, were as monarch is more my speed.

O and no maps/scenarios larger tham a Small map, he has a 1.68ghz 1GB Ram machine

A headstart perhaps... eg. you have to wait 10 or so turns (at the beginning) before moving your units or building any cities.

I'd play it on a mirror map, that way he knows what you have and vice versa, and you should play on a level or two higher difficulty if he is that much weaker than you. Also make sure barbs are turned off or he will surely die to them
