LAN Question

Do you think it would be possible for two people on separate computer to play Civ 5 over LAN with only one copy of the game? Like could they both log into the same account in offline mode and play each other?

It's understandable if you can't but I'd like my friends to try Civ 5 with and they can't afford a $50 game. I don't see why it would be any different than 2 people playing a console game together.

We have only one FAQ here, but this one already answers some questions :

What? If you have two people on separate consoles you can't play multiplayer with one copy of a game.

There might be a "hotseat" feature. Then you can play on your computer, and each takes turns.
