Laptop (for DX11) recommendations

Hi
I am thinking of getting a new laptop for playing CIV 5. And that is the main reason I will get it.
I have read on net that DX11 is the way to go, to get best possible graphics in the game.
But someone did mention that DX11 do only work quad core pc’s, is that right?
So any Intel core i5, that is dual core, does not support DX11?

If this laptop support DX11 and will run the game it is the one a have chosen
Is has only two core processor:

DELL XPS 15
4 GB DDR 3 ram
1 GB Nvidia GeForce 420M GT
15.6" Full HD B+RGLED TL
Intel Core i5 2.66 GHz, 3M
Windows Ultimate 64bit

Is this a good choice or does somebody have any other recommendations?

I don't know where you read that "DX11 requires a quad core" but that is complete nonsense

That laptop is a very good choice for Civ5, as it runs best on nVidia DX11 chips and benefits only in rare cases from a quad core
