I am having a strange problem with my Laptop. It is a Toshiba Satellite 100CS, P75Mhz, 16Mb RAM. The built-in keyboard works, but not properly. When I type some certain keys, like "a", I see "az" on the screen, even though I only pressed "a". "e" becomes "=e", "i" becomes "ik", "k" becomes "ik", "l" becomes "l.", "p" becomes "-p", "r" becomes "5r", "s" becomes "ws", "w" becomes "ws", "y" becomes "7y", and "a" becomes "az".

Because of this, obviously I can't actually use my Laptop for typing, which is annoying. Does anybody know of a solution?

Sounds like a problem with the keyboard itself, which will mean taking it to be serviced somewhere and replacing (perhaps it's repairable, but I wouldn't count on it) the keyboard, or getting a new laptop.

Having just noticed how old it is, I don't know if you'll have any luck finding anyone who can service it.
