Spoiler Founding of Thebes (taken later) :

4000 BC Thebes is founded on the Nile in the heart of rich farmland, on the coast with excellent fisheries. The first rulers of Thebes, strongmen who used physical strength to promote their power in the tribe, focus on expanding Thebess warrior class by starting the training of new warrior units. Egyptian gatherers begin the long process of domesticating wild cereals through trial-and-error.
3985 BC A strongman rises to power in Egypt. In fifteen years, there has been six changes of leadership. The unknown, possibly barbarian, strongman will rule for over fifteen years.
3870 BC The first traded Egyptian pearls appear in the archaeological record. It would be centuries before pearls appear in sizeable quantities.
3855 BC Hunters begin circulating stories of their exploits. Such as hunting and killing wild horses and oxen.
3840 BC Twelve people are killed when fighting breaks out over the ascension of a new tribal chief.
3825 BC The unnamed tribal chief has ruled for fifteen years. Not much is known of this woman, other than that a higher-than-usual number of deaths seem to have occurred under her rule up to this point. This may be the first signs in Egyptian history of a ruler suppressing dissension.
3810 BC The tribal chief died two years ago. A relative takes power, but this is through force, not through an accepted lineage. The nephew entrenches his political power by finishing the first warrior unit.
3895 BC A strong warrior steps forth and challenges the nephew to combat. The nephew is killed when the warrior dodged a clumsy haymaker, grabbed the nephew, and snapped his neck.
3880 BC Fearing that his time is short, the victorious warrior in his final years sets up a tribal council. The tribal council is made up largely of the most influential persons in the village of Thebes. Numbering thirteen people, there are six warriors, six hunters, and one woman, usually the most respectable, wisest, or otherwise important in the village.
3865 BC The Tribal Council is nearly twenty years old now and has seen seven membership changes. These changes did not result in violence and, overall, the Tribal Council is the second longest ruling Egyptian entity, behind the Aunt-Nephew Period.
3850 BC The Tribal Council has only one original member still on it. The Council is now the longest government of Egypt so far.
3835 BC A group of warriors, led by a council member, attempts to overthrow the council. However, the Egyptian people, along with other warriors, side with the council. The warriors are executed, and the council member is exiled into the forest. Never to be seen again.
3820 BC Another warrior unit is raised. The Tribal Council agrees to the construction of a Hunters Cabin. For the new two centuries, hunters will see their political influence increase.
3790 BC The first domesticated wild cereals in Egypt appear.
3700 BC Egyptian cultural identity is now fledgling.
3670 BC The population of Thebes surpasses 6,000 people.
3610 BC Egyptian master the art of fishing on the coast and river. Like agriculture, it will be centuries before the benefits of this comes to fruition.
3580 BC A Hunters Cabin is finished in Thebes. Works begin on the first of four work boat units. With the completion of these work boats, Thebes will be flooded with pearls and amber.
3475 BC The population of Thebes, and by extension Egypt, reaches 21,000 people.
3415 BC Egyptians begin telling each other stories. These stories will form the earliest core of Egyptian culture.
3235 BC An Egyptian woodworker creates the Egyptian Wheel in Thebes. Three of four major sea resources, two pearls and one amber source, are being worked by workboats.
3205 BC The population of Thebes reaches 48,000. The number will hover around this point for coming years as Egyptian food production has yet to increase to meet demand. The population of the second largest civilization hovers around 6,000 people, with the average being 3,600. Egyptians are also the best manufacturers of finished goods on the planet. Egypt as a whole is the most technologically advanced civilization on the planet.
3130 BC The final workboat is completed, granting Thebes the largest merchant marine on the planet. The Tribal Council, which now includes four new spots reserved for fishermen, agrees that workers will be needed to incentivize people to move out and develop the countryside.
3040 BC New tools are discovered in archaeological sites, leading modern scholars to conclude that Egyptians begun experimenting with new tool making ideas around this period.
3010 BC Nile Workers begin construction along the river. The Tribal Council shifts its focus to expanding its military and gathering the population to settle a new city. This comes partially in response to Russians making contact with Egyptians. The idea that Egyptian civilization was unique is shattered, and the Nordic warriors of the Russians are strong.
2890 BC Metal lore enters Egyptian storytelling. Effort is made to begin domestication of cattle and horses.
2860 BC Contact is made with India.
2830 BC The first barbarian invasion of Egypt begins. The savages descend on Egypt from the north. The warriors of Thebes move out to stop the invading army.
Spoiler Form Wall! :

2800 BC The invasion is repulsed. The savages, moving through thick forests, attempt to launch an assault against the weakest part of the Egyptian warband, an area where the warband hadnt taken up positions on hills. The attacked warrior unit loses nearly half of its strength, but the savages are killed to the man.
2770 BC Another barbarian incursion is repulsed at the border with minimum loss of life.
2740 BC Another incursion repulsed. The defending warrior unit loses over half its strength, but the survivors gain experience in fighting in wooded territory.
2725 BC Animal domestication is achieved in Egypt. In response to the invasion and two incursions, Egyptians begin looking for better ways to defend their borders.
2680 BC Contact is made with the Persians of the north. To the east, primitives are seen traveling in an attempt to enter Egyptian lands.
2665 BC The primitives are fast! They sneak through a gap in the lines and set up camp just east of Thebes. An attack on their camp resulted in a casualty rate of nearly 75% for the attacking Egyptian unit, who were unprepared for combat against the trained dogs of the primitives.
Spoiler Crafty illegal Primitives :

2605 BC Another savage incursion repulsed.
2545 BC Another savage incursion is repulsed. This one comes from the northwest, leading the Council of Thebes to reconsider the number of militiamen they have, fearing that they do not have enough.
2515 BC Contact is made with the Arabians, also approaching from the north. The Egyptians develop the bow and arrow.
2470 BC Memphis is discovered to the northwest of Thebes. Memphis was built with defense in mind. Its position allows the defenders to retreat into the city when pressured and for the city to exert influence on he surrounding riverlands.
