As if it wasn't enough with CivArmy's "request" thread, now I'm making one of my own.
The thing is that after finishing Franco and Roosevelt I'd like to stop for a while making WWII leaders, and so to change a bit I decided I'd start a request thread (but there will probably be some other "surprises"... unless someone makes them first :P)

This is NOT a lottery, so you don't have to second requests or anything like that. I'll choose the ones I like the most, and then make some of them (perhaps one, two or three.. I'll see), so the only way of supporting request will be by posting interesting pics of the leaders, some unusual characteristic of them which makes him/her unique.

BUT, I won't be doing fantasy LHs (I'm not keen on the whole thing... perhaps I'll consider it later, but not now), LHs already available (through other LH creators) or, obviously, WWII leaders

OK, with that clear, you may start requesting (unless you don't want to request anything)

ONe thing I find CFC is sorely lacking is a leaderhead of a Pope. Probably the most important Pope was Gregory the Great, but the name and who it is is not important, just a pope LH. I can post pics later, if you wish.

A new Urho Kekkonen leaderhead! Our current one is by R8XFT and although it's OK, the man has grown by leaps and bounds as a leaderhead designer since that.

Urho Kekkonen is the longest reigning Finnish president and known for centralizing power and ruling with a very authoritan style. Kekkonen's Finland has been jokingly called 'Kekkoslovakia' and he became known for breaking up the parliament when he felt like it and writing harrassing letters to people he felt were doing harm to the country with their actions.

He was the president of Finland from 1956 to 1981. The people loved him despite (or because of) his authoritan ruling style. He did keep the country independent under the pressures of Cold War. It didn't come without a price though - Finland had to get close with the Soviet Union and Kekkonen's relationship with the Soviet Union was definitely very close - even mutually beneficial.

Kekkonen was a strong character who had been one of Finland's top athletes in his youth. He took his guests to a sauna, drank alcohol freely and maintained an image of a sportsman who liked especially crosscountry skiing and hunting.

His last term probably shouldn't happened as he was an old man suffering from an illness affecting his brain. Therefore he really wasn't as present as he should've been although he did realize his condition and kept hold of some of the strings. Finland had just been so accustomed to having him as a president that alternatives weren't an option as long as Kekkonen was a candidate.

Edit: I must admit though that I have no use for it myself at the moment. My old Finnish Civ mod could use it, but it may be a while before I update it.

I wouldn't mind seeing one of our Great Leader.

Certainly if this were to be done, you'd be the best person to do it, as I think that of our resident LH makers you are the best at capturing good likenesses of modern leaders, as the WW2 series certainly shows!

.. because Karl V really wasn't an Austrian monarch. He really ruled Spain as Carlos Primero (I), moreso. As far as I know, he didn't even speak fluent German! But Franz Joseph I epitomized (and still epitomizes to this day) his country and the Habsburg dynasty. Please make him!

A Young Kim Il-Sung, President of North Korea from 1948-1994. I say Young because I'd use him for the Korean war Scenario.... and he certianly wasn't an old man then.

Syngman Rhee, the President of South Korea during the Korean war. He is an old dude...

And Finally General Douglas MacArthur. He ran the War for the U.N. from June 1950 to April 1951 when Truman fired him, and is my hero.

Now, since I only need them for the Korean war Scenario, they only need to be single era...

I'd like a futuristic Euorpean Leader. Not as far in the future as Pentagenasis but a little bit after colonization of Mars.

This isn't quite fantasy, more like Sci-fi :p

If memory doesn't decieve me, he didn't speak Spanish very well either, as he was raised mostly in Holland. Also if I remember correctly, Karl V gave the crown of Austria to his brother pretty early on his reign (I might be wrong on the latter, I read these about a year ago and don't have all the sourcebooks at hand). He was also often referred to as Carlos Quinto in Spain, dispite the fact that he was officially the first Spanish monarch to be called Carlos.

Franz Joseph I is also an excellent suggestion. He was also the longest-reigning monarch in (at least European) history, ruling Austria-Hungary for no less than 68 years.

Cool requests so far! I can say now I'm already considering doing a couple of the ones suggested here, and there are another couple which I was already considering doing: in some cases, as a way of thanking some favours; in others, just cause I already liked them from other requests threads. And for the people who requested a Vatican LH, well, since CivArmy's not doing it this time, I will very probably start working on it soon.

But anyway, I won't be able to start working for some days, so keep the requests coming!! (and remember, in some cases, weird looks and all that may help me decide on that one)

Last but not least:
@Finnstar: I believe there is already a Gustav II Adolf LH available, I believe by CivArmy. And there was at least another version, though it was never finished, by Sween
