How do you know that it's not serious? Do you REALLY believe that the mustache was to give Mario a recognizable nose and not a comparison to Stalin? And why the communist star on the flag? What about those tubes that he goes through for bonus resources? Those are clearly a symbol of factory smoke stacks; a symbol that heavy industry is the way to be prosperous. Why does eating a mushroom make you bigger and a flower make you spit seeds and why was he able to fly with a feather? It's clearly evolutionist propaganda. Exactly! Luigi is only a minor part of the Mario Bros. just as those countries are but a small part of the Soviet Union!

Nintendo send out all sorts of bad messages. For example, Pac-Man. Pac-Man taught you to be homophobic. The ghosts are homosexuals, they wear bright neon colors and rub up against each other in a box. But would Pac-Man let them be just homosexuals? No, he has to go get a power pill and chomp on those homosexuals.
