Can anyone explain the actual raw figures of legendary city status? I generally play Noble level and go for the cultural victory, have done searches for 'legendary city status' and can't find any figures. The culture figures available in both the city window and the F1 window are just useless for this, they show raw culture and culture per turn but I've had cities get legendary culture with both less raw and less per turn culture than other cities with approx same general stats. I'm guessing that there is some other factor or factors involved which I don't know about and until I do I'm reluctant to up the difficulty level seeing as I'm currently working in the dark.

When you pass the mouse over the culture bar, you'll see the city cultural level. That is: Poor, Developing, Influential, Legendary.
A city must achieve 50000 culture points to become legendary. Quite simple, isnt it?

Thanx 4 the heads up. Haven't bothered with cultural victories b4 and I've been playing since Civ1 on my old Amiga 500. :goodjob:

also, notice that the treshold for legendary status depends on the speed of the game. At epic speed, it's 75.000, and at marathon, 150.000 (don't know for Quick)

andyeah quick and normal are for ferries and chicks so you are looking for 75,000 or 150,000

Oh wait, I thought that Marathon was the one that made military rush easier because of the time to obsolete a military unit, and other things like the time to build a defensive unit when you are being rushed. In generaL, as the AI is already bad in military operations, it will be even worse then because of the speed of the game.
Of course I am probably wrong and quick and normal are the one that su..! Sissies!

Thanks for enlightening me.

For ferries? You mean they're for large seafaring vessels meant to transport people across seaways?
