Well, in Civ3 the lenght of the game cant go beyond 1000 turns. The game continues after that, but score cant be entered anymore, and so lose the fun.
Besides this, we already have the problem of the maps not going beyond 300 e tantos tiles. This is not sufficient, I need a world map of 1024 x 1024, even if with environment animations (the horses and such) turned off, and with 200 cities for each player, 50 civs and 5000 turns in the same game. Play the same game the entire month!!! Hahahaha!!! I'm addicted!!!

What's the point ? Even on huge maps in Civ III, a vast majority of players here finish well before turn 300-350.

I´ll need to ask my boss if I can borrow the company´s mainframe to run that. Don´t think 200 cities is a lot on that size map tho. Hope your not a MM´er.

Wow, it takes me more or less a whole month (25-30 hours) just to play a standard map up to 200 turns. I'm not sure I can even conceive the time needed to play what you're suggesting. I commend your enthusiasm though. :D

That's because civ3 wasn't designed for huge games perhaps, and from what it seems civ4 will be even faster considering they're trying to get the multiplayerpart so good.
If someone made a game that long they would have to fill it up with features and a gameplay that would change along the way.

a map that size you would suffer from turn bordem, even on the fastest machines

Thats my problem turns have to be under 30 secs or I start to get bored.......I know short attention span
