I didn't take the easy odds. 2nd week in a row 2 vs 1 has killed my AI. Mansa doesn't need to do anything on a start like this. Very hard to lose if you are left alone all game.

I'd rather not do that, there should be freedom of picks or it's not realistic imo.
But we are half way at 4/8 games..so declaring some winners now and moving on i like.

I would be interested in hearing from Nick723 and Eauxps, as they are in a place to contest. I'm just in awe that Kaitzilla took up the Great Lighthouse and Liberal Economics to totally surpass everyone's performance at this point last year

How about something like you have to bet at least the difference between you and the person below you in score on one outcome? So Kaitzilla has to bet at least 87,500 on one outcome and can do what they like with the rest. And Nick has to bet at least 32,500 on something etc.

I am still reeling from having the fantasy rug snatched out from under my feet. I don't really know about this one tbh (I like all the money I have though). Maybe I'll feel differently in a couple of days once I've recovered my composure.

Overall you guys seem happy with the gold situation still, and i'm sure Kai will make interesting bets next time
So after some thinking i decided to keep things as they are - but i can already announce that we will reset before the wildcard (like last year).
After 8 games 3 winners will be announced, and as AIs go into the most interesting games everybody will get a fresh start.

Okay, here's my take. I've worked hard for my 30K and I don't much fancy having that snatched away. I also never win bigger contests like this anyway, so the idea of not being able to compete with Kaitzilla does not really bother me.

I'm in favor of continuing the current ledgers in perpetuity.
