Leonard Nimoy Intro

Hey all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to enable the Leonard Nimoy intro that plays at the start of every game in BtS? It works fine in Vanilla and Warlords, and it might have worked in the first versions of BtS, but it hasn't worked in ages. I've checked everywhere in the options and even rooted around in the ini. and xml. files but the only relevant thing I can find is to enable/disable the standard intro movie when you boot up the game.

It doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game of course, it's just a nice aesthetic and nostalgic opening to every game that sets the mood.

Any smart individual out there know how to enable it?

Thanks! :goodjob:

I may be being over-simplistic about this, but there's a setting which should be there in your CivilizationIV.ini file:

; Set to 1 for no intro movie
NoIntroMovie = 0

If this is set to 1 for some reason, then you'll got no intro video at all.
(The ini file is in My Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword.)

However, if you mean you get a video, but it's not the right one, then I'm afraid I'm not being much help...

Yeah, I've tried that; that's for the game intro movie, not the "In the Beginning..." one with Spock himself doing the voiceover you're meant to get when you start a new game. There are no other relevant options in the .ini file. Thanks though.

Anyone else?
