There doesn't appear to be any reference to Leonard's contribution to Civilization IV in the in-game credits. I've checked three times and I can't see his name anywhere. Unless I'm mistaken, you can forget about programming issues - this is the biggest gaff the producers of the game have made.

He is named on the box. Otherwise I'd think Firaxis would be so sued by now.

???

It was a job, he got paid for it. Credits are just a way of acknowledging contribution nothing more.

I personally dont think he did a few good job - his tone sounds too disinterested.

And I like Star Trek.

I personally think that Soren Johnson ought to be taken out of the credits, then - his contribution seems to have been positively counterproductive. How much did he get paid for this mess?

Where do people get the ridiculous idea that you should sue first and sue often?

Too much T.V.? Just lazy and looking for a free ride? What's the deal here?

I second this. What is the problem???

People think lawsuits mean free money. They don't understand that it's not free, it comes from somewhere. I could go on a long thread about American Entitlement Mentality, but this isn't really the venue for that.

(I am an American, btw, so this isn't a rip or a flame.)

It's the American way.

I've often thought of tripping myself on purpose in the Wal-Mart parking lot and suing them for it. :D

On topic now... what's the big deal if his name isn't in the credits? Like Nigel said, he did his job, got paid, and went home. Credits are over-rated anyway. I'm surprised people actually read through them.

Honestly... who even reads the credits? And when they do, they forget the names the second they read them.

He is given credit in the manual - which is all that is required by US law.

I agree that it's a bad trend.

I reckon most of them are good; but there are a few where he got the emphasis wrong. If I was directing the recordings, I would have made him do a few of them again. Such as the Bureaucracy one, I think that could have been better spoken.
