Leonard Nimoy NOT in the credits?!

He's a US national treasure, that's who - one of my favourite actors :). The thing is it's just darn RUDE not to have acknowledged his contribution in Civilization IV's in-game credits - common courtesy is the issue here. Leonard probably wouldn't think anything of it, but I am actually quite miffed by the oversight - especially since his presence in the game is so prominent. Apparently I'm the only one who feels this way. :(

There doesn't appear to be any reference to Leonard's contribution to Civilization IV in the in-game credits. I've checked three times and I can't see his name anywhere. Unless I'm mistaken, you can forget about programming issues - this is the biggest gaff the producers of the game have made.

He's listed as Narrator on page 217 of the spiral bound manual. :)

I think his little quotes is a pointless contribution and I don´t like his voice. I turned him off, and I wish they would have spent their time and resources to bring back the old city counsil from Civ 2 instead of this boring nonsense! :coffee:

Although I really like Leonard Nimoy (and was looking forward to listen to him in the game), I think it's pretty obvious that he was chosen based on his publicity and not on the quality of his voice-overs. Compared to other games, I find the voice acting not really bad, but definitely sub-par. There would have been many, many better alternatives, but of course Nimoy's name sells.

John MK, you just made my day, that link has quite possibly ruptured something internally for me.

What is it you darling Colonials say - "Good Job!"

I love Leonards incantations by the way, except he sounds so OLD!

CIV ON!

Oh, number of posts makes one or one's opinion worth more? I gotta remember that... :dubious:

Didn't you know that that is the primary rule on message boards?

Where do people get the ridiculous idea that you should sue first and sue often?

Too much T.V.? Just lazy and looking for a free ride? What's the deal here?

You don't have to sue for money. Mr. Nimoy could sue to get his name in the credits. But, if his name is in the manual, that's probably enough.
