Okay, who's idea was it to make GOTM#3 a BLOODLUST game? I haven't conquered the world in millenia. I just play isolationist, ultra tech superior, crush any fool who messes with me, and leave the pitiful primitives behind while my civ goes on to colonize the stars. Now I have to re-think my entire approach to the game. . . I guess this means I have to (shudder) broaden my horizons (O the Horror of it All).

(In case it wasn't apparent, I was being sarcastic. I actually enjoy trying something new. I stopped playing the GOTM, and started a Diety Bloodlust just to refine my conquest techniques so when I returned I could put them to good use. Good idea guys. Can't wait to see what's in store for GOTM 4.)

I to haven't ever played a BLOODLUST game, but there is no real change in my playing since I'll just conquer the pet city instead of launching the space ship.

But I still don't like it..........

I'm the opposite.

I don't think I've ever won by spaceship.

By that time I've either conquered the world or way behind in tech and the AI has already launched. (Or I'm dead

)

Just think of a spaceship only game....I would assume this would be played on a easier difficulty though. Then again....I don't know how many people play Diety and Launch in 1000AD

My first time ever playing on bloodlust, too (though I have won by conquering before when I didn't feel like mucking through the end game to launch). I definitely have a lot to learn about early period warfare, but all in all I don't think I've done too badly. My science is suffering horribly, though (barely ahead of the others) and I'm not used to that. Definitely has been a fun challenge. Remains to be seen whether I finish in time for the scoring (where have I heard that before?

) but has been well worth the effort in any case.
