On traits: he used spiritual arguments to encourage his men. Whether he did this out of sincere belief or for showbiz is a point of debate.
He did not have the massive organisational skills of someone like Pompey, so perhaps organised is wrong. What he excelled at was daring, brilliant, original tactics and manoevers, which meant that, historically speaking, agressive would be appropriate.
I do not believe that he was particularly industrious. His skills were in battle. In peacetime he rotted away in bitter uselessness.
